joyeux anniversaire, cosette!
Who: How many people can we fit in a cabin again?
What: Celebrating Cosette's birthday
When: Night, Saturday, April 19th
Where: Dionysus cabin
Why: Why not?it has nothing to do with trying to impress Cosette
Did someone say sweet sixteen? Because if the Dionysus cabin is nigh empty, it's time to throw a party in it. And if it's being hosted by a son of Dionysus, you can bet it's going to be over the top (and probably end with it getting shut down by the end of the night). Hey, at least it's a Saturday (well, this time it is...) The beds are pushed against the wall, leaving a dance floor ready to be filled.
The cabin's dimly lit with its usual stereo system pumping loud dance music for the first time since R's siblings have, for various reasons, left camp. Along with the glittering disco ball throwing light around, glow sticks and other colored lights have also appeared, turning the cabin into the closest these demigods are going to get to a night club without going outside the boundaries. There's a table lined with salty snacks and punch (no it's not spiked, R is trying not to get kicked out of camp, as much as he might toe that line). There's also a space for cake-- someone will bring one right?-- and for presents to be stacked on.
If you need your host, you'll find Grantaire behind the control system with a pair of Beats on his head picking what terribly popular, loud pop music to play next. It's not his cup of tea, but for Cosette he'll play all the Ke$ha and One Direction remixes he'll find. But you can get his attention if you try hard enough.

Courf! Hey! [She moves her way over to him.] Sucks we can't spike the punch, right?

Hey Eps!
[He shrugs his shoulders, glancing down at his punch.]
Guess... But I'm having a good enough time without that.

[She grimaces at her cup. She is so not happy with being sober.] Don't tell anyone, but this music makes me want to drink even more.
And y'know, speaking of lucky, I heard a rumor I thought you should get the heads-up on. [Do you feel the Hermes' skills coursing through her words? Hopefully you don't. Just listen, and don't question it.]
no subject
[Seriously. No joke right there. Smiling a little, he shakes his head.] Your secret's safe with me.
[But that next part has him looking at her curiously.]
Oh? And what's that?

[That is to say: sex. Because if Courfeyrac pushes sex tonight, Cosette, who is already being told that Courfeyrac is getting impatient and looking elsewhere... It could just be the linchpin that Grantaire was hoping for. Or at least set them down the right path.]

[He knows Cosette wants to wait. He's not the happiest camper about it, but he was willing to try and be as patient as possible. He was doing pretty good so far.]
Well, I wasn't planning that, really...

[God damn it, Courfeyrac! WHY do you have to be responsible and listen to your girlfriend?]
Then at least go down on her or something. I know you're amazing at that. She'll love it.
no subject
I... Maybe.

Just... don't wanna fuck things up with her.

You're an Aphrodite kid. There is no way you're going to fuck anything up with her.
no subject
I guess you have a point...
no subject
I know it sounds fucked up, but I want you two to be happy. You two look good together. [Look at her, absolving herself from blame.]
no subject
I guess. You really don't think it'll screw things up? Really?

It's your girlfriend. Your decision.
