Bright and early on the morning of Valentine’s Day, one will find Courfeyrac making his way around the camp with a little red wagon in tow. He had employed Naomi’s help in growing all of the flowers, and he makes a mental note to offer an extra offering tonight, this time for Demeter, as a thanks for her blessing her daughter with that power… He’s in a nice, slightly rumpled, button down shirt, jeans, black suspenders and is wearing a bright pink bow tie. Perfect for the occasion if you were to ask him.

Everybody he passes, including the ones listed below (unfortunately, except for Callie), receives a small bouquet of peach blossoms and yellow roses, tied off with a ribbon and signed from Jehan. Everyone (including Callie) also receives a red rose with baby’s breath, tied off with a velvet ribbon from Courfeyrac himself, some of the girls (and those he’s close to, ie Jehan, Gabriel, etc.) with a (chaste) kiss on the cheek. In addition, all the girls in the camp get one single pink rose with the message “Do all things with love” and signed from A Daughter of Aphrodite. Everyone also receives a bouquet of snowdrops with red and white roses from Naomi.

It’s not too late to send flowers, he’ll gladly remind everyone. He even has a means of delivering them to people outside of the camp that he can make happen.

[ Grantaire stares at Gabriel's bouquet disbelievingly, turning it over. He keeps the other flowers tucked in his arm, realizing by now that almost everyone had gotten these. Typical Courfeyrac (and Prouvaire) being kind.

[He's not laughing. But he's very much smiling.]

[ R pulls off pained embarrassment well, I promise. ]

Can you send him back... uh- [ He looks over his bouquet with renewed interest. He gestures to the different types. ]

These all, like... mean something, right?

You're not an asshole. A lot of people didn't reciprocate the flower orders they received. That's not what it's about.

[But he's still smiling, raising his eyebrows even more.]

Yeah. They do-- What do you want your flowers back to say? I can help you pick out ones that way.

[ Pulling his knit hat firmly down on his head, trying very hard to keep up a collected appearance. ]

We can figure it out.... The smart ass in me says one red and one black rose... But blacks a bit harsh...

So I've got... asters, geraniums... is this wolf's bane? [ Suppressing a laugh because Gabriel. ] Okay no I gotta come up with something good. Hang on, Jehan taught me some of these...

[ Thinking for a moment. A long moment. With a grimace he finally decides. ]

No, wait, I got it. A blackthorn instead of a black rose. [ Grinning. Yes, he's happy he thought of that. ] But, uh, in a bouquet with Indian Jasmine. And Spanish Jasmine.
