Bright and early on the morning of Valentine’s Day, one will find Courfeyrac making his way around the camp with a little red wagon in tow. He had employed Naomi’s help in growing all of the flowers, and he makes a mental note to offer an extra offering tonight, this time for Demeter, as a thanks for her blessing her daughter with that power… He’s in a nice, slightly rumpled, button down shirt, jeans, black suspenders and is wearing a bright pink bow tie. Perfect for the occasion if you were to ask him.

Everybody he passes, including the ones listed below (unfortunately, except for Callie), receives a small bouquet of peach blossoms and yellow roses, tied off with a ribbon and signed from Jehan. Everyone (including Callie) also receives a red rose with baby’s breath, tied off with a velvet ribbon from Courfeyrac himself, some of the girls (and those he’s close to, ie Jehan, Gabriel, etc.) with a (chaste) kiss on the cheek. In addition, all the girls in the camp get one single pink rose with the message “Do all things with love” and signed from A Daughter of Aphrodite. Everyone also receives a bouquet of snowdrops with red and white roses from Naomi.

It’s not too late to send flowers, he’ll gladly remind everyone. He even has a means of delivering them to people outside of the camp that he can make happen.

"Hemlock... I've searched all over and I can't find a definite meaning to it. The other is ivy geranium... Another that I can't quite figure out."

He was actually pretty curious about the meaning to this too.

"Right." Melinda scratched her head and stared at the flowers, nonplussed.

"Normal geraniums are kind of a jokester plans.. Like, I think the book listed it as 'folly' or whatever. And I found one for hemlock that said it meant 'you will be the death of me'.... But, who knows?"

"Maybe I should just ask him," she decided. "Do you want me to let him know what he says?"

That? That's a relieved look from Courfeyrac and he nods. "Yeah, asking him would be best. I'd love to know what he says, but that's up to you."

"Okay. I'll let you know," she agreed with a nod. She smiled a little. "Thanks for...I don't know, doing this, anyway. You kind of inspired me to do my own flower thing, so."

"Wait, I did? What kind of flower thing?"

[jediburn]

"I mean, just the same thing you're doing," she said, shrugging awkwardly. Maybe she shouldn't have said anything. "But I'm making the bouquet and giving it to him myself."
