It was a fight, but Gabe had at least a foot of height and 75 pounds of weight over her. There were ways to use his size against him, of course, but not down here on the ground. He just got lower, leaning more of his weight into his hands and ankles. The hand on her throat moved and he stuck the pad of it in his mouth, nipping it. The thumb was unscathed, but Annie would see it to be dripping with blood when he withdrew it. He smeared it down her face, letting the saliva feel like the blood drying.
