[ After taking some time away from the rest of camp to just lick his wounds, let them heal over enough that they start to scar, Derek makes his way out to find Scott. They have a lot of things to talk about, and now that he's given it some time he's sure that the younger legionnaire has had time to himself and with his close friends of the camp. Now, it's time for the born werewolf to steal the bitten for a little while.
Gods, Scott was bitten. It was his job to protect his cohort-- even if, right now, they number so few-- and he failed that. Laura would've been able to do it, he thinks. She would've been able to keep them all safe and away from Lycaon's wolves.
He couldn't even take down the shewolf that bit Scott. But at least he made sure that she would remember the wolf that sided with demigods.
