Flower express
Who: Courfeyrac and YOU
What: Courfeyrac's delivery service!
When: Early morning/midday
Where: All over camp!
Bright and early on the morning of Valentine’s Day, one will find Courfeyrac making his way around the camp with a little red wagon in tow. He had employed Naomi’s help in growing all of the flowers, and he makes a mental note to offer an extra offering tonight, this time for Demeter, as a thanks for her blessing her daughter with that power… He’s in a nice, slightly rumpled, button down shirt, jeans, black suspenders and is wearing a bright pink bow tie. Perfect for the occasion if you were to ask him.
Everybody he passes, including the ones listed below (unfortunately, except for Callie), receives a small bouquet of peach blossoms and yellow roses, tied off with a ribbon and signed from Jehan. Everyone (including Callie) also receives a red rose with baby’s breath, tied off with a velvet ribbon from Courfeyrac himself, some of the girls (and those he’s close to, ie Jehan, Gabriel, etc.) with a (chaste) kiss on the cheek. In addition, all the girls in the camp get one single pink rose with the message “Do all things with love” and signed from A Daughter of Aphrodite. Everyone also receives a bouquet of snowdrops with red and white roses from Naomi.
It’s not too late to send flowers, he’ll gladly remind everyone. He even has a means of delivering them to people outside of the camp that he can make happen.

Thank you, Courfeyrac. [for more than just this delivery. He gives Courf a kiss on the cheek.] This festiveness looks good on you.

[He smirks and returns the kiss on the cheek.]
Thanks, though. It's kind of required to be one of my favorite holidays thanks to mom or whatever.

I'm sure I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about.
[He pulls out one of the yellow free and plays the stem between his fingers, breathing in the scent]
You kept one for yourself, I hope. Have any plans for later? [He's not asking Courfeyrac out, he's just asking]
no subject
I didn't, I couldn't imagine being so selfish to do that. Let everyone else have their flowers.
[At the question of his plans for later, he simply shrugs.]
I may have a lovely date... that I'm treating to dinner before we both help out the Demeter cabin with their cafe... You?
no subject
I intended for the flower-bearer to receive one as well. [he passes over the yellow rose] Because you deserve flowers, too, you know. Although yellow might [he squints at the bow tie] clash a little.
Dinner and more Valentine's festivities. Sounds like you have a good day planned. [in response to the question, he shrugs with a small smile] I don't have a proper date, not really, but I may be bringing someone to the cafe if she doesn't have better plans.

[He accepts it, though, grinning and shaking his head.]
Merci. I hadn't intended to spend the day with anyone, but well... She agreed without me having to pull out any anonymous flower stunts. So, that counts for something.
That sounds like it'll be fun, still.

[he tilts his head to the side a little]
I'm glad that you didn't have to pull any flower stunts. It seems people have gotten quite creative with them. I'm a fan of keeping it simple.
It should be. I've been hearing some excitement over this cafe. And there's nothing like spending time with someone you like over a meal.
no subject
[He smiles again, laughing a little.]
Keeping it simple is all well and good, I'm afraid it's not my style. But yeah, the Demeter kids really have a good thing going with it, so I hope you'll have a good time there.... Maybe I'll even be your waiter. Who knows?
Also... My brother is very curious about who sent him that rose... so curious it might drive him mad.
no subject
Your brother might get mad, but I doubt very much that it would drive him to such ends. I'll consider telling him who the rose was from, but if I intended to do so, I wouldn't have sent it anonymously, would I? A little curiosity is good for the soul.
no subject
Hey now, I just promised him I'd talk to the anonymous sender... I didn't promise any results. I agree with you completely, it's why I didn't tell him who it was.
no subject
You have fulfilled your role by talking to the sender. I'm sorry (for him) to say that I'm not so easily persuaded to give up my identity. Maybe some day. No today.
