Who's Strong and Brave Here to Save the American Way?

Who: Steve Rogers, Annabeth Chase, an NPC demigod...and a surprise
What: Going to get the demigod Tybalt and Dave heard about in Saratoga Springs.
Where: Northern New York
When: May 14-15th
Why: Because Captain America

For once, this quest doesn't have an official prophecy telling the questors to go. This time, it's mostly a warning.

Where the cat and red-eyed one had gone
To save this child they need brains, then brawn.
Siblings two shall go forth
And one shall come into his worth.

But mind the dangers in the Springs
For there shall be one to pull the strings
Of others that are still unknown
And one who will one day atone.

They had planned to send Annabeth anyway, but the prophecy mentioned siblings so Chiron (reluctantly) told Steve that he was going to get to go on this quest as Edmund was too new. There's no big to-do over this one, though there's still a chance to tell the two good-bye.

Okay people! Back up, give the boy some breathing room!

[Sojourner had heard about Steve's sudden growth spurt, and it sounded like something straight out of the comics.

She still didn't get why all the girls were gawking, because sure he was suddenly tall and muscular but he was still Steve. That nice kid who drew.

Which is why she's weaving her way through the girls, shoo-ing them along with Scoot's lacrosse stick. Said stick she had managed to ste- borrow with the help of Stiles. She's not actually hitting anyone was it, but there are a few gentle bops.]

Seriously! Y'all act like you've never seen a guy with muscles before!

{Stiles's head jerks up when Steve clears his throat and his eyebrows shoot to new levels.}

Take it you're one of Athena's actual kids?

{He excavates himself from his research and hop-skips through it across the cabin to Steve.}

I'm Stiles, your new Norse cabin mate.

[He'd been having an argument with his Da - who of course caught him trying to sneak out again - when the fire started.

The rest was a bit of a blur, but he remembers Steve grabbing him and telling them to go.

Now that their outside though, and he's sure Da is okay he realizes something is a lot different then before. That thing being Steve.]

[He's surprised by Kevin approaching him.]

I'm Shea.

[He tosses one more glance at his new friends, then nods.]

[Kevin's already showed him around a bit, but he's still happy to see Steve. He grins, duffle bag safely stored away in his cabin.]

Finally escape your fanclub?

[He feels more relaxed here, like there's a small weight that was lifted from his shoulders.]

[Kevin knows how overwhelming being in a new place can be. He isn't that long here. And he's still finding his feet.]

Yeah, I did. [He shrugs a little.] Sorry about leaving you, I was kinda ....mobbed. Where have they got you set up?

[And he's shooting her a grateful look. He's never been good at being the center of attention, would much rather hide against a wall and sketch things, so --this? Is extremely uncomfortable.]

Yeah, I'm Steve. [He offers a hand and a curious smile, tilting his head towards Stiles' various piles of stuff.]

My sister an' I were on a quest when you arrived, I guess. What are you up to?

Well, uh, there was a dame workin' with Gaea that set Shea's house on fire. Shea's the kid we went to pick up. So I had to get him and his dad out. That's about it.

I just helped out, that's all. It wasn't anything anyone else here wouldn't do.

Research! Well, I mean, that's kind of obvious probably, but I'm doing learning about the Norse pantheon, it's various myths and gods. I had no clue what was going on with myself, or why the heck Hera had led me on a cross-country hide-and-seek, so I buckled down and decided to find out everything I could and which god I was getting my crazy from.
