Who: The entire camp!
What: Mr. D has moved up his festival of Apokries to coincide with Halloween! It's time to party! Where: All around the camp!
When: Thursday, October 31st
Why: Because, why not?

It was decided earlier in the month that to coincide with the holiday of Halloween, and to give campers a bit of fun after all this nonsense, that Mr. D would be holding his festival of Apokries early! As such the entire camp has been decked out in all sorts of spoooooky decorations.

It's as though a carnival has been set up over night, with music and food all around. There are satyrs and nymphs handing out candy at cabins (smarties for Athena, warheads for Ares, ect.) for any people wanting to trick or treat,  and campers running around in costumes. 

The ampitheatre has once again become a designated dancing spot, and Apollo might have returned to DJ, the arena miiiight have been transformed into a bit of a Haunted House (with special thanks to Hecate), and Demeter has set up a corn maze for campers to navigate through! 

It's time to have some fun!

*Hey, hey Dean. The bag is now full of spiders.*

So, what's up first tonight?

*Also Bay is now next to you on the hood of the impala. She just wanted an in on the candy. Bay isn't really wearing a costume, just jeans and a blouse... but she's weaved an illusion of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark's dress and hair for the moment.*

[ He's just reaching for another piece of candy when he feels something definitely no candy wrapper. Looking down, Dean wrenches his hand away and almost proceeds to freak the hell out - which one of those jackasses did it he's on to you - when Bay appears, and he relaxes, but still glares at her. ]

Frankenstein. [ He says curtly, nodding at the bag. ] Now, do you mind? I like my candy without eight legs.

*Bay grabs some of the spiders out of the bag before returning them to normal. No amount of her own powers could confuse her.*

Thought it was the best way to get you to share. Sides, it's only a little harmless fun. Nothing permanent.

*Bay's right hand is moving to sign out various bits of dialog. She'll just curl up next to Dean with some candy.*

Creepiest way to get me to share. [ He mutters, pushing the bag toward her a little. ]

Thought you'd be helping out with that corn maze or the haunted house.

*She just smiles at that, she's a creepy Goddess, it's kinda how that goes.*

Running a bit low on energy, I'm only managing small illusions right now. I can't do what I was doing to the maze anymore. My costume might vanish if I'm not careful.

*Pause.* No, I'm not naked, stop thinking it.

This is better, anyway. Classic horror movies, not those dumb slasher flicks. Where's the plot? [ Dean's just an elitist. Classic is always better, in his opinion.

He shakes his head, suppressing a grin. ] Damn. A man can dream, can't he?

Normally the plot is seeing the girls naked before they die.

*There might be a pointed look, but she's smiling so you're off the hook for now.*

It's a little weird watching the true classic, at home it's usually Deafenstein because of my... err, previous self-identity crisis and my ex boyfriend picking the movie.

And I don't know why you're complaining, this dress is 90% cleavage.

Yeah, but now you've got these awesome sound effects! [ If only he were joking. There's no sarcasm in the exclamation, though; he's completely sincere. He loves these things.

And forget suppressing a grin; it's there now in all it's shit-eating glory. ] I never said I didn't appreciate it.

Oh, Deafenstein has sound, just not dialog. I have missed proper screaming women and rabbling townsfolk. *She'll just... ignore it. She wasn't the picture of PC with Daphne. Plus she likes Dean.*

So why the movie marathon? It's a better choice than doing the Monster Mash, but why'd you pick to set this up?

*She may have just adjusted her position so her cleavage was even more obvious. She had no problem with Dean's looking, in fact, she rather enjoys the attention.*

[ He is completely unashamed at looking. ]

It's Halloween. I haven't seen any of these in a while. Sounded like a good time to pull 'em out again. [ By which he means he had to trudge around stores for hours before he found all the good ones. ] Not to mention it shows these kids the true meaning of Halloween.

*Bay will just curl up a bit closer to him. Bay is nothing if not subtle. The contact makes it clear she's rather modestly dressed under her effective illusion.*

And here I thought the true meaning was to demand candy or you'll egg the cheapskate's house. But this is definitely a good way to spend the night.

Although there are alternatives, that would also work.

[ With a shrug of one shoulder, Dean puts his arm around her to be more comfortable. ]

That's the other meaning of Halloween.

[ He gives her an intrigued look. ] What kind of alternatives do you have in mind?

*Bay grins, it's definitely a grin with some... motivation behind it. Her purple mist falls around them a moment and she's reverted to normal. Wavy hair, a sweater, and jeans.*

Well, I might have enough energy left to put an illusion around both of us. So anyone looking sees too people watching a movie on the hood of a car.

[ Grin. ]

I think I appreciate those illusions of yours a little more every day.

Do you? You haven't really shown me how much you appreciate them. Not really.

*Come on Dean, nobody can see, make a move. Bay's not one to make the first move, she likes to just set it all up and make it really obvious.*

I can think of a few ways to.

[ Like maybe leaning over and kissing her. It's not gentle, or rough - but it's enough to convey the message. ]

*Bay is completely fine with this show of appreciation. Her hand finds Dean's shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze, and presses against him a little. She lets him set the pace for that kiss, Bay wants to see where Dean takes this.*

*Of course, to anyone around, the two are just curled up watching a movie. Sure, they might be a little too close to each other, but nothing is going on.*

[ Dean's never been a fan of taking it slow, exactly, and for now his hands are settled on her waist. But just a simple kiss isn't quite enough, so he tilts his head to deepen the contact after nipping at Bay's lower lip. ]

*Bay used to like taking it slow, but after two disasters in the form of relationships... she might as well enjoy this before it blows up in her face. Not... that way.*

*She kisses back with equal fervor, her illusion flickers slightly as he nibbles her lip. Smiling between kisses.*

*She's fairly confident he can back them up, but she likes to flex her Godly status every so often. Before she leans in to resume their kiss again.*
