HALLOWEEN PARTY

Who: The entire camp!
What: Mr. D has moved up his festival of Apokries to coincide with Halloween! It's time to party! Where: All around the camp!
When: Thursday, October 31st
Why: Because, why not?

It was decided earlier in the month that to coincide with the holiday of Halloween, and to give campers a bit of fun after all this nonsense, that Mr. D would be holding his festival of Apokries early! As such the entire camp has been decked out in all sorts of spoooooky decorations.

It's as though a carnival has been set up over night, with music and food all around. There are satyrs and nymphs handing out candy at cabins (smarties for Athena, warheads for Ares, ect.) for any people wanting to trick or treat,  and campers running around in costumes. 

The ampitheatre has once again become a designated dancing spot, and Apollo might have returned to DJ, the arena miiiight have been transformed into a bit of a Haunted House (with special thanks to Hecate), and Demeter has set up a corn maze for campers to navigate through! 

It's time to have some fun!

I certainly would hope you wouldn't truly want me to fall in love with one of my dragons, though. Or give him the ears of an ass.

Oh, gods no. Unless your dragons are cursed princes, that is.

I should hope not.

[She thinks of her eldest brother again, so strong and noble and very much like a prince in his own right.]

I've had quite enough of cursed princes.

Cursed kings, then.

[He picks up Rhaegal and starts petting him]

[The green dragon makes another keening noise and relaxes in Jehan's lap. He shrugs off his ass's ears - Dany sighs a little and re-fixes them onto his little horns, then takes the other two dragons in her lap.]

I'd make a proposition to you, if you'd want to hear it.

Oh? If it's asking me to give someone poison oak, I need a good reason.

Gods, no.

[Though, she has to smile a bit that that's the first thing Jehan thinks of. It's noble how he'll think to come to aid her first.]

When he is large enough...I would have you learn to ride on Rhaegal's back alongside me.

[He starts to say something when what Dany just said hits him. He stares for a second]

Wait, what? You want me to learn to ride Rhaegel?

Of course I do. He's formed a bond with you, and...well, you and I are quite close. I feel I can trust you to do such a thing.

[shylyintrepid]

I would love to!

[He grins and hugs Rhaegal close]

He's my favorite. No offense to Drogon and....I honestly can't remember how to pronounce the other's name. Sorry.

[wokethedragon]

I'd advise you to choose your words wisely around my dragons. They can understand many things.

[She scratches the scales on Drogon's neck, as if to appease him.]

Viserion, Jehan.

[shylyintrepid]

Oh, I like them all. But Rhaegal is cuddlier.

[He laughs and scratches under Viserion's chin]

[wokethedragon]

[And Viserion, true to form, reaches out to snap at Jehan's finger. Drogon has always been the most unruly, but the cream dragon is meeting him in spades recently.]

Viserion, no!

[She reaches underneath him, pulling Viserion away.]

He has been disobedient lately. He...set Enjolras' pants leg on fire.

[Jehan pulls away with small noise]

Does he miss your brother too?

[wokethedragon]

[She shakes her head, making sure to keep the other two dragons close to her.]

I would not know. The only dragon that has met one of my brothers sits in your lap.

[shylyintrepid]

Maybe he's feeding off your mood?

[wokethedragon]

That may be the case for Drogon, as he's always been attuned to me. But...Viserion's misbehavior started long before I received news of my brother's killing.

[shylyintrepid]

[Jehan frowns]

Jealous?

[wokethedragon]

What would he have to be jealous of?

[dany is Completely Missing what Jehan is trying to get at here.]

Maybe you're spending too much time with other people?

[wokethedragon]

[She's quiet for a moment.]

Perhaps I am neglecting them.

[She doesn't want to think about it, she thought she was doing a good job, being a caring mother to these three beasts who saw her first and claimed her as their own. But could it be true?]

[shylyintrepid]

I don't think so.

[He squeezes her arm]

But he might not be used to you not spoiling him.

[wokethedragon]

[At first she eyes him warily when he squeezes her, though it turns into a small smile.]

I had taken it to mean he simply dislikes Enjolras...which is truly a shame.

[shylyintrepid]

Who could hate Enjolras?

[He laughs. He knows his friend is prickly]

[wokethedragon]

A great many people.

[She laughs a bit at that, as well. She understands his drive and outspoken manner and determination are some of the things that can really turn a person off, but they are truly what she admires most about him.]

He is my closest friend, and I'd simply wished for my children to take to him. But it also seems he is...not fond of their presence as well.

[She had meant to offer the same sort of opportunity to Enjolras that she did to Jehan with Rhaegal.]
