HALLOWEEN PARTY

Who: The entire camp!
What: Mr. D has moved up his festival of Apokries to coincide with Halloween! It's time to party! Where: All around the camp!
When: Thursday, October 31st
Why: Because, why not?

It was decided earlier in the month that to coincide with the holiday of Halloween, and to give campers a bit of fun after all this nonsense, that Mr. D would be holding his festival of Apokries early! As such the entire camp has been decked out in all sorts of spoooooky decorations.

It's as though a carnival has been set up over night, with music and food all around. There are satyrs and nymphs handing out candy at cabins (smarties for Athena, warheads for Ares, ect.) for any people wanting to trick or treat,  and campers running around in costumes. 

The ampitheatre has once again become a designated dancing spot, and Apollo might have returned to DJ, the arena miiiight have been transformed into a bit of a Haunted House (with special thanks to Hecate), and Demeter has set up a corn maze for campers to navigate through! 

It's time to have some fun!

[.... Yes please. He has trouble not cracking up as he stumbles forward a bit.]

What? Jehan, jumping on people does not equal dancing.

I do not want to dance. I want to jump on your back. I'm a faerie, we're not required to make sense.

Of course... Your not making sense makes so much sense.

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

[He laughs and points to the benches on the side]

Let's go sit?

I could use a break, yeah...

[He'll gladly follow Jehan over there, weaving his way through the dancing demigods.]

[shylyintrepid]

[Jehan gets there first and claims a bench for them both. When Courf finally joins him, he leans against him]

I've a plate of goodies just for you at my cabin, if you want it later.

[dandylicious]

[Ok, he's fine with that. In fact, he'll sling his arm over Jehan's shoulders.... And grin brightly.]

What really? Like I could say no to a plate of goodies.

Yes! Candy petals and a muffin and I think I got you chocolate cream puffs.

[dandylicious]

[He laughs and leans closer to Jehan.]

That sounds amazing!

[shylyintrepid]

I'm glad you approve! Oh, don't bother Alcuin for his chocolates, okay? They have real liquor in them, but I got them for him because of his uncle's murder.

[dandylicious]

That was thoughtful... Yeah, no, don't worry... I'll enjoy my treats and my treats only.

[shylyintrepid]

I just feel so bad for him.

[He kicks at a rock]

He was so close to him, and for the Red Room to murder him like that...

[dandylicious]

[He remains quiet for a moment... He never really got the whole story from Alcuin, didn't want to press.]

Red Room's full of a bunch of assholes... They've fucked over so many of us... I can't even.

[His hand not at Jehan's shoulder clenches.]

[He sighs and nods, curling up a little on himself]

Assholes and people who believe them.

[dandylicious]

[He frowns and rubs at Jehan's arm slightly to comfort. He can't really think of anything to say, so it's better to say nothing at all, right?]

[shylyintrepid]

...I'm sorry. I just get so...

[He gestures vaguely]

[dandylicious]

Don't worry.... I just... it's better for me to not say anything than to say something stupid, yeah?

[He nudges his nose against Jehan's cheek before kissing it.]

[shylyintrepid]

You never say anything stupid, Courf. Never ever.

[He cuddles closer]

[dandylicious]

Clearly I haven't around you.

[He just holds him close, glad for the cuddles and not realizing just how tired he'd been from all that dancing.]
