Who: The entire camp!
What: Mr. D has moved up his festival of Apokries to coincide with Halloween! It's time to party! Where: All around the camp!
When: Thursday, October 31st
Why: Because, why not?

It was decided earlier in the month that to coincide with the holiday of Halloween, and to give campers a bit of fun after all this nonsense, that Mr. D would be holding his festival of Apokries early! As such the entire camp has been decked out in all sorts of spoooooky decorations.

It's as though a carnival has been set up over night, with music and food all around. There are satyrs and nymphs handing out candy at cabins (smarties for Athena, warheads for Ares, ect.) for any people wanting to trick or treat, and campers running around in costumes.

The ampitheatre has once again become a designated dancing spot, and Apollo might have returned to DJ, the arena miiiight have been transformed into a bit of a Haunted House (with special thanks to Hecate), and Demeter has set up a corn maze for campers to navigate through!

It's time to have some fun!

Reyna isn't that bad.

[Though this is coming from the person who would say that no one in camp is that bad, even on pain of torture.]

I like her. And yes, you should definitely come to training.

[The Look he gets for that...

But it passes shortly as he shrugs.]

Yeah, I totally want to. Just... not tomorrow because I'll need my beauty sleep after this.

I might skip tomorrow. I think I've had too many chocolates.

[Specifically the ones with the booze inside.]

Then it's agreed. We'll skip tomorrow and get some very well deserved rest... And start fresh the day after.

An excellent resolution. I'm going to hold you to it.

[He rests his head on Reynaud's shoulder and finishes off what remains of his s'more.]

I swear I will not try to weasel my way out of my first day.

[He pats Alcuin's knee, as though reassuring him, but otherwise doesn't move so he can rest if he needs to.]

It becomes habitual pretty quickly. You'll build up your stamina.

[He's pretty tired, so Reynaud's shoulder is a very comfy place to rest.]

[He's used to it, so it doesn't bother him really.]

I'd make an innuendo about my stamina being just fine, thank you... But now I've ruined it.

I did leave it wide open for that.

[He rolls his eyes and lets out an amused huff.]

You're so good to me.

[He chuckles under his breath.]

That quarter of the camp might be thanking you and the Romans later for my increased stamina, in that case.

As well they should.

[He pauses.]

I'm not going to make any jokes about you and the Romans, though.

Wait no... Now I want to hear them!

Well, I didn't really come up with any. Just with the general idea of you and Romans and building your stamina.

[He grins, stifling his laugh.]

If you come up with any, I want to be the first to hear them.

It's not like I go around telling just anyone dirty jokes. Of course I'd tell you first.

Point. I'm glad I'm the first-- or only-- one you'd tell.

I don't think anyone else would appreciate them, though Jehan might laugh along with his blushing.

I'm sure he would.... But he's the only one I can think of that would.

Well, if you declare them fit for public consumption, perhaps I'll tell him.

I have faith that you'll come up with something that makes me proud.

You know, I think this conversation is getting increasingly ridiculous.

[He offers one of his chocolate cordials to make up for it.]

Well, we're both tired, so that doesn't surprise me.

[But he'll accept one, because he'd be insane not to.]

[He might be a teensy bit of a lightweight. Shh.]

How many have you had already?

[Because as soon as he's had his piece... Well... they are quite strong. It's no wonder Alcuin's a little loopier than he normally would be.]
