For the first time in forever [open!]
Who: Anna and you!
What: Anna's arrival- turns out she's a demigod! Who knew?
When: Monday, January 13, night
Where: Woods
Why: holy guacamole, who knew running away from home could be so dangerous!? And where's my sister?
Anna stumbled into the forest, starting at every little sound. Ever since she lost track of that goat guy (satyr, he'd corrected her), she was paranoid of monsters or something ridiculous. Little did she know that she had good reason. The goat man had assured her there was a camp ahead, somewhere she'd be safe and more than likely find her sister.
Tripping overher own two feet some stray twigs, seriously watch out for those pesky things!, she scrambled back up and continued ahead... If goat guy was right, the camp should be not too far away. The young heiress kept a tight grip on her backpack with one hand and anxiously tugged her coat closer to her with her other.
Another sound. "Ah-- Hey? Hello, anyone out there?"
No one's out there, Anna. You sound like a lunatic, expecting monsters or harmless bunny rabbits to answer your questions.

Who are patrolling for werewolves, which this girl might very well be. There are ways to check, simple ways. So the next twig to snap would be Callie stepping into the open with a very large sharp looking spear. Pointed at Anna.
Now all Callie is waiting for is the reaction this girl gives to imperial gold pointed at her menacingly.

Eyes widening, she held up her hands, in a sort of universal "I surrender" gesture. Her mouth opened, as she tried to assure she wasn't a threat or anything, but nothing really came out.

Callie sighed and collapsed her spear, holstering it on her back, tourists. Lupa gave them an idea what was waiting for them when they went to join the legion. She glanced around the woods looking for danger, but it seemed pretty empty around here, "Let's go, the camp director and warhorse probably will know what to do with you."

Look, all she was told was that she'd be safe at this camp place for some reason. Anna stood her ground, frowning just a little bit more. "I'm looking for my sister."
And it was clear she refused to move (regardless of a camp director or warhorse or whatever) until she got some kind of answer.

"Does it look like she's here?" Callie tromped back over to the girl. Callie's desire to get back to patrol meant not leaving the girl here to get killed, that'd be a choice she would have to live with. Along with every other choice, "If anyone knows where she is, it'll be Mr. D and Chiron. Who also, aren't here."
Callie crossed her arms, it seems like an easy choice. Stay in the woods alone, unarmed, where girls jump out with weapons. Or don't stay in the woods alone, unarmed, where girls jump out with weapons.

As soon as possible.

There's no humor, no joking, no sense she's playing. This was the truth, the facts of what happened. The story was the same for everyone but the magicians, who know who they are, and the Norse, who are told what's what. "I can't promise you anything, I don't know who your sister is or if she's been through here. But if anyone would know, they would. Now, I'm offering to lead you to safety. You can follow, or stay here. I don't care."
Now to see if that bluff works.

This girl was either completely nuts or a really good actress... Because she sounded like a loon. Still, Anna had been held at spear-point today and had spent the past few days traveling with a guy that had goat legs where human ones should have been.
"Fine."
These guys could, supposedly, give her some kind of answers. And that's all she needed to know. "I guess I have to talk to someone that will give me real answers."

But... Callie is still an older sister who did everything she could for Jude, time and again, when she should have run, left... it would have been safer for her. "...Sorry I can't help you with finding your sister," Callie didn't say it loud, or focus on it. "But we've got an issue with wolves prowling the camp. And this is where the answers are."
no subject
Anna bites down on her lip and sighs a little. "Wolves are pretty freaky, so I really appreciate the help finding the place easier and maybe getting answers. Hopefully getting answers..." A pause. "Definitely getting answers, I mean."
no subject
"These wolves used to be human, and can only be killed with silver. So 'freaky' is the right word for it," Callie extended her spear again to help keep the path clear enough for the both of them. She figured this girl wasn't much for the outdoors. "I'm Callie, I'd prove the whole Demigod thing, but my powers don't work that way. You'll get your answers, they might not be fore the questions you care about."
no subject
She quickly picked up her pace again, shoving her hands in her pockets, and followed the girl further. Explaining what those wolves were, it all sounded really strange. Like from a movie or book or something and she didn't know that she could trust it all. "I'm Anna... um, it's okay? I guess as long as I get some answers..."
no subject
Callie was trying to keep an eye on the other girl, but she was also making sure that no werewolves managed to cross the barrier. Her free hand was resting on that knife she was borrowing from the mortal. She was at least taking the direct approach to camp. Sooner she didn't have a... 'princess' to protect, sooner she could go back to her patrol. "You seem awfully sure you want these answers. You sure you want to know?"
no subject
She guesses. It's hard to say when you never see your sister... "Our parents... went on vacation a few weeks ago..." she trailed off and clenched her eyes shut, stopping where she was. When she spoke up again, it was soft and not easily heard. "They never came back."
no subject
"Look, I've... been there, a long time ago. But your answers are waiting in camp, and you're unarmed and things are bad enough we've been forbidden from sneaking off camp grounds for our safety." As opposed to before, where it was because... they forbade it because the rules here were arbitrary. "If your sister is out there, we can find her. She's probably on her way here if she knows anything. And the goatleg patrol is out there to make sure we get here safely."
Not that she was going to lay on her personal feelings on how safe this place was, the way the Greeks handled things, the way the security was set up, the housing and... well, everything. Not going to help to be that honest yet, but she had to understand that this wasn't where you cry.
