i can't believe that we would lie in our graves
Who: Scott McCall and YOU!
What: Aftermath of the werewolf attack.
When: Thursday, January 31
Where: Outside Nike cabin.
Why: It's time for Scott McCall to step into the light again.
[So it's safe to say that Scott McCall's been laying pretty low for a day or so. He's missed Roman training in the morning for the past two days, which he's pretty sure he'll be penalized for, but he figures lots of people were injured in the scuffle (which is a horrible word to use for what happened, now that he thinks about it, what the hell McCall) and -
and it's a little scary for him that the bite that he sustained is pretty much gone now.
No.
It's a lot scary. And he kind of has a feeling he knows what's happening to his body, but he doesn't like it one bit.
There are so few people that know about the whole bite thing, and Scott would really prefer to keep it that way, especially since - well, since he didn't ask for this. He never planned it to happen - he just wanted to keep the camp safe, wanted to keep all his new friends and his family, his legion, his home safe.
He's taking a few steps out of the cabin for the first time, trying to stay slow on his feet. It helps that he's a little disoriented by what he can see, what he can hear now. He's still got bulky bandages on under his shirt, just to keep appearances up. He got to a healer, yeah, but...healers don't fix everything right away, especially on someone who's just a legacy.
And now, apparently, a werewolf.]

[He manages to flinch when she nudges him - he hopes it's convincing.]
You...have a computer here? Doesn't that interfere with anything, I mean - that's why I don't have like, a cell phone or anything.

We'll announce our plans soon, that's what Chiron told me.

[Not that he needs to, now, with the IMs, but he'd like to talk to his mom in a way that's more comfortable for him.]

That's not an available program here since we have IM's - I think it's too much of a risk, putting in on here along with everything else it can do. It's mostly for building, planning and storing information, though I've been able to create credit cards and order things online.

[He repeats it back, though he's not sure of the significance.]
Oh, that's - that's okay, I guess, I mean. I send my mom IMs and stuff when I can - how she sees them I'm still not really sure of, y'know? But I figured it might be...more comfortable for her. Something like that, over a screen.

Well, she knows that her father can see the messages just as they do in camp, and Sally Jackson can see them as wellI. ] Is she clearsighted? If I'm correct, your father is the one with godly blood, right?

[His voice lowers a little when he talks, like he doesn't really want to say much more about his dad. That ass. He and his mom are better off without him, but...sometimes he just wishes his mom was a daughter of Victoria instead. She'd rock it, honestly. But even as just a mortal, he has so much more pride and respect in his mom than his dad will ever get.]
I think she might be, I don't know. We've never really talked too much about what exactly she can and can't see? But she was in New Rome with us for a while, so...yeah.

You should ask her next time you talk to her. It's good to know these things.
