There are targets all set up at different intervals, and more waiting by the sidelines. It's come to Dean's attention that certain parties may end up being a little on the destructive side for this competition, so he wants to be prepared. Not to mention there are apparently going to be some other showboats coming out this afternoon.

Dean would like them all to bring it.

This being his own competition, he steps up to the plate first, gun in hand. There are very few misses, and most of his shots are tightly clustered on the targets. Beat that, Apollo cabin.

Elizabeth may be down for charlie to become the next Winston Churchill, but she also really wants Charlie to feel confident in his abilities, no matter which ones they are.

"Alright!" She calls, applauding him. "Way to be!"

The confidence may have taken a nosedive when the target exploded (at least it wasn't a stink bomb,) but Liz's cheering perks him right back up. He did hit it and if it were a monster, then having it explode is a good thing, right? Right.

He scampers out of the way and over to Liz. "Did you see that? I hit it right in the middle!"

"Yeah you did!" She held out her hand for a high-five. "Right on the first one, too."

[moointhedark]

High-five, yeah! He jumps a little to make it. One day, growth spurt. One day. "Right? That's the first time I've ever done it, too! I thought I was more careful with my pellets, though, but at least there are extra targets."

[toeverywhere]

"There will always be extra targets, so I wouldn't worry. Besides, we're all pretty used to things blowing up around here. I'd say you're good."

[moointhedark]

"Thanks!" He's all smiles. "You were really great too with the bang and the bang!"

Each sound effect is punctuated by him pretending to fire a shot from a finger gun. "I almost thought you were gonna kill that guy!"

That gets Elizabeth laughing.

"No way. I'd never kill Percy Jackson. Being a Hunter comes with accuracy to rival you Apollo kids."

[moointhedark]

"Well I didn't think you were gonna actually do it, but it looked like you were gonna." Also, knife towards the crotch, Liz? Low blow, even Charlie knows that.

"You should help teach the Apollo Scouts! That Dean guy is gonna give a demonstration too!"

She kinda forgets these things, being isolated from men so much, okay?

"Is he?" She raises an eyebrow. "Well, I think we mentioned something about me stopping in before, but now I definately will."
