HALLOWEEN PARTY

Who: The entire camp!
What: Mr. D has moved up his festival of Apokries to coincide with Halloween! It's time to party! Where: All around the camp!
When: Thursday, October 31st
Why: Because, why not?

It was decided earlier in the month that to coincide with the holiday of Halloween, and to give campers a bit of fun after all this nonsense, that Mr. D would be holding his festival of Apokries early! As such the entire camp has been decked out in all sorts of spoooooky decorations.

It's as though a carnival has been set up over night, with music and food all around. There are satyrs and nymphs handing out candy at cabins (smarties for Athena, warheads for Ares, ect.) for any people wanting to trick or treat,  and campers running around in costumes. 

The ampitheatre has once again become a designated dancing spot, and Apollo might have returned to DJ, the arena miiiight have been transformed into a bit of a Haunted House (with special thanks to Hecate), and Demeter has set up a corn maze for campers to navigate through! 

It's time to have some fun!

[The green dragon makes a keening noise and snaps, pulling the jerky out of Jehan's hand and chomping it.]

I have a question, if you can answer it. About this play we're dressed from.

Hm? Oh, that reminds me--I've got it on audiobook if you would like to hear it.

I would. I should very much like to learn more about this fairy queen.

[She nods a little, then scoots closer to him.]

Why does Puck go without a shirt?

He's a faerie! They aren't required to wear clothing. Some performances give him a shirt, of course, but I chose to go with out.

I believe I would be in a world of trouble if I'd chosen to go without.

[Chiron's had to call her out before. She laughs, the fairy wings on her back moving with her.]

As long as your nipples are covered, you're obeying decency laws! I had to research weird American laws, and I think that was one of them.

[wokethedragon]

That's...absurd.

[But she covers her chest, almost as if she's making sure. Customs can be quite strange.]

No, what's absurd is that breasts are vulgar but gore isn't over here.

[wokethedragon]

There are some things even I can't claim to understand.

[She shakes her head, pushing some white-blond hair out of her eyes.]

Still, it suits you. You look positively impish, Jehan.

[shylyintrepid]

And you look positively regal. We're a perfect pair.

[wokethedragon]

I certainly would hope you wouldn't truly want me to fall in love with one of my dragons, though. Or give him the ears of an ass.

[shylyintrepid]

Oh, gods no. Unless your dragons are cursed princes, that is.

[wokethedragon]

I should hope not.

[She thinks of her eldest brother again, so strong and noble and very much like a prince in his own right.]

I've had quite enough of cursed princes.

[shylyintrepid]

Cursed kings, then.

[He picks up Rhaegal and starts petting him]

[wokethedragon]

[The green dragon makes another keening noise and relaxes in Jehan's lap. He shrugs off his ass's ears - Dany sighs a little and re-fixes them onto his little horns, then takes the other two dragons in her lap.]

I'd make a proposition to you, if you'd want to hear it.

[shylyintrepid]

Oh? If it's asking me to give someone poison oak, I need a good reason.

[wokethedragon]

Gods, no.

[Though, she has to smile a bit that that's the first thing Jehan thinks of. It's noble how he'll think to come to aid her first.]

When he is large enough...I would have you learn to ride on Rhaegal's back alongside me.

[shylyintrepid]

[He starts to say something when what Dany just said hits him. He stares for a second]

Wait, what? You want me to learn to ride Rhaegel?

[wokethedragon]

Of course I do. He's formed a bond with you, and...well, you and I are quite close. I feel I can trust you to do such a thing.

[shylyintrepid]

I would love to!

[He grins and hugs Rhaegal close]

He's my favorite. No offense to Drogon and....I honestly can't remember how to pronounce the other's name. Sorry.

[wokethedragon]

I'd advise you to choose your words wisely around my dragons. They can understand many things.

[She scratches the scales on Drogon's neck, as if to appease him.]

Viserion, Jehan.

[shylyintrepid]

Oh, I like them all. But Rhaegal is cuddlier.

[He laughs and scratches under Viserion's chin]

[wokethedragon]

[And Viserion, true to form, reaches out to snap at Jehan's finger. Drogon has always been the most unruly, but the cream dragon is meeting him in spades recently.]

Viserion, no!

[She reaches underneath him, pulling Viserion away.]

He has been disobedient lately. He...set Enjolras' pants leg on fire.

[Jehan pulls away with small noise]

Does he miss your brother too?
