Who: The entire camp + special guests.
What: Wolves have broken through the camp barriers!
When: Late Wednesday January 29 into early morning on January 30
Where: Various camp locations.
Why: Some canines think they can show Camp Half-Blood who's boss.
It starts with a scream.
The evening harpies, better known as camp's alert system for kids who are out past curfew, have some news for everyone, flying through the camp and shrieking through cabin doors to wake everyone up if they're asleep. (Unless, of course, you're untrained and too young or incapable of fighting tonight. Demeter cabin will be your place of refuge.) After the first call to duty, campers have risen to the occasion with their various plans and promises, patrolling the border and building weapons specifically for their new enemies. The Full Moon passed with only a few howls, much to the surprise of many.
No, these wolves have other plans for the New Moon. Aligned with Gaea and followers of Lycaron, they're a group of six renegades looking for a show and perhaps a tasty snack. One of them just so happens to be in the business of fussing with the Mist, undoing someone's hard work to let in her comrades.
They've got bared teeth, blood on their nails, and a penchant for chaos. Camp, it's time to wake up.

Babysitter's Club
He's still armed with his slingshot and a bag of stink bombs, just in case, but he's got a smile on and he's doing his best to keep it together.
Keeping it together also includes having built one sweet ass fort in the corner of the cabin where all the kids have been herded. He's got snacks, candy, and some board games.
Suck it, wolves.]

[Eponine doesn't know how Charlie's going to take her being there, but she wasn't fit to be on the battle field, that much was a given. Gabriel had been the one to convince her to stay behind, to take care of the non-combatants and kids. Outside, she could hear the battle, the mood inside of the cabin tense, no matter what anyone tried to do.]

She was, for all intensive purposes, a weapon herself. Durable and dangerous if given a task, for now her task was to kill any werewolf she met. Defend the cabins, and be there to protect her friends in the 'Babysitter Cabin.' Sky had no problem with this mission, anything that threatened her friends would find out exactly how strong she was.

He signaled her with a flash of his shield as he approached, and he didn't speak until he was near so he didn't have to raise his voice. "It's been clear so far back that way," he indicated the way that he'd come from. "Have you seen anything?"

but then they're here and there's a fight and there's weight thrown and demonstrations of power - and audrey's always been an independent spirit, out of necessity, more than anything.
in fewer words and implications, she's interested. her hands itch for something, a weapon that she doesn't have, and she opens the door of the cabin and slips outside, ready to find herself a front-row seat to all of this. (after all, she doesn't need to be babysat and watched. that's for kids.)
at the very least, she can familiarize herself with how things go down, can't she? ]

And she doesn't even have a weapon. Shit, kid's got a lot to learn. He comes up behind her, invisible, and touches her wrist, pulling her in - she'll see him, but nobody will see them.]

That matter settled, he rushes off to assess the situation from the ground, keeping a careful eye out for his fellow campers or for any enemies who might slip through. His shield occasionally reflects flashes of light, so he's not exactly hiding from danger.]

[ Arthur is alert. Under normal circumstances he's slow to rise - it takes him a good hour or so to start firing properly - but then there's nothing particularly normal about the state of the camp at the moment. He's not sure whether 'chaos' is the right word but it's certainly something very like it: he's patrolling the camp in the middle of the night, sword in hand, still warm with sleep. And werewolves are attacking.
He'll worry about the ridiculousness of it all later. For now, he needs to make sure that his friends haven't been hurt.
A splash of light distracts him. It's brief and cool - metal, by the looks of it - and apparently attached to someone he knows: ]
Hephaistion?
[ Have a short bark of laughter, high-pitched and relieved. He'd be a good person to fight alongside if the worst came to the worst. ]
Gods, am I glad to see a friendly face.
[ Arthur lowers his sword and checks him over - habit, really, because Hephaistion looks fine. ]
Are you all right?

The Porch Of Demeter Cabin
For now, he's simply keeping watch, and waiting, ready to go at the moment he's required. Nothing's getting through to the campers here if he can help it though. Nothing.]

What's the word. I'm itching to hear it. [She could run, quick, see what was going on. She was the daughter of the messenger god, after all, so it's driving her crazy, not being able to know what's going on. She doesn't know about the non-Artemis Hunters that have stormed the camp or any of it.]

He'd never admit to the sound of those harpies screeching giving him the chills, or scaring him as bad as they did. But between this being real and what had happened earlier that day, he was at a loss of what exactly to do.
How he wished he was an Ares kid or something, so he could just go up to one of the wolves and punch it in the face, curse and spit at it, then walk away. That's something they'd do.
Most likely not.But he didn't have the chance to walk up to anything or anyone and punch them or even help others.]Re: [open]

Hey. Courfeyrac, right? I've seen your posts and stuff. Uh, you okay? Cause I have to admit, even though I've got a plan for stuff we can do here, I'm a little freaked out.

RED ROOM STEALIN' YOUR THIIIINGS
Of course he still has to be here, using the attack as a cover to sneak back into camp to steal all sorts of goodies alongside some of his fellow "traitors", as he's sure their being called. Whatever. It's not like he cares. He just wants to get this done and over with before anyone notices; because he's really not sure what's worse. Angry demigods or wolves.
As he slips out of the Athena cabin with a knapsack full of books he opts to lean towards angry demigods.]

The bad part is that one false move, and you've blown your cover.
And he does notice Zane, and he knows who he is, and what he is, and what he meant to a certain best fucking friend of his, and his eyes narrow, his face going white, and he mouths 'no fucking way'.

Actually terrified is an understatement. She hasn't been this scared since the Red Room kidnapped her. But she has to be brave, right?
So here she is, in the Demeter Cabin doing what she can to help and looking like she's about to cry. But she's trying, she really is. Because she's got to be brave. She's got her dagger safely on her hip and a bo staff in hand because... Well because Derek told her if it comes down to it to keep the wolves as far away as she could and she could to that with a staff.
She really hopes she doesn't have to do that.]

She took to patrolling the cabin area, sword at her hip. If Gabriel's going to be around doing his thing, then damn it, she will be too. Her hair is a drab, mouse brown right now, her real hair colour. She doesn't have the energy to keep up appearances when there could be wolves around any corner.]
